Many services offer health screening, but it’s difficult to find and understand the differences between each service. Often, digital health platforms will offer at-home finger prick blood tests marketed as health screens, with no means for a full, top to toe assessment of your body. Furthermore, many services offer no time with a doctor at all, instead relying on phlebotomists or healthcare assistants to conduct the screening. Finally, there are extremely expensive options offering totally unnecessary investigations of dubious clinical value.
At Private Doctor London, we do things differently. Our MOTs are doctor-led, each targeted for the most common specific concerns we have seen amongst our patients.
All MOTs include two Consultations with your private GP – one at your initial visit for your MOT examination and assessment, and another Consultation with the same GP to review all of the results. Many MOTs also offer Consultant Specialist appointments, allowing you immediate access to world class specialists in their field to address any specific concerns that you may have.
Patients attending for an MOT will also receive an incredibly comprehensive array of measurements, observations, imaging scans and blood tests to get a full, top-to-toe understanding of their health. These tests can be repeated once changes have been implemented so that you can track your progress.
Health MOTs are customisable and additional tests can always be added to any package at your request, just mention these at the point of booking or to your screening doctor when you attend.
If health issues are detected during your MOT which require specialist treatment, consultations or further investigation, we also provide referrals within our network of London’s leading private hospitals, specialists and clinics or to your National Health Service GP.
